Cara menghitung Route Summarization




contoh 4 network address:
















172.16.0.0/16

Langkah pertama adalah mengubah format IP address diatas menjadi bentuk binary, seperti yampilan dibawah :
172.16.0.0 -> 10101100 00010000 00000000 00000000
172.17.0.0 -> 10101100 00010001 00000000 00000000
172.18.0.0 -> 10101100 00010010 00000000 00000000
172.19.0.0 -> 10101100 00010011 00000000 00000000
Langkah kedua, hitung jumlah bit yang sama dari semua network address tersebut dimulai dari bit yang paling kiri. Pada tampilan dibawah, bit yang sama diwarnai kuning.
172.16.0.0 -> 10101100 00010000 00000000 00000000
172.17.0.0 -> 10101100 00010001 00000000 00000000
172.18.0.0 -> 10101100 00010010 00000000 00000000
172.19.0.0 -> 10101100 00010011 00000000 00000000
Setelah anda menemukan bit yang sama, hitung jumlah bit yang cocok paling kiri untuk menentukan subnet mask. 14 bit yang cocok, /14 atau 255.252.0.0

Anda bisa lihat bahwa ada 14 bit yang sama dari semua network address, jadi prefixnya adalah /14 atau 255.252.0.0
Langkah ketiga adalah copy semuat bit yang sama dan kemudian tambahkan “bit 0” sampai dengan berjumlah 32 bit address. Maka ini kemudian dijadikan network address.

Langkah ketiga, menyalin atau mengcopy bit yang cocok dan menambahkan nol bit untuk menentukan alamat jaringan
172.16.0.0 -> 10101100 00010000 00000000 00000000
Copy tambahan nol bit

dan keempat network 172.16.0.0 , 172.17.0.0 , 172.18.0.0 , 172.19.0.0 dapat di sederhanakan kedalam single network address dan profix 172.16.0.0/14.

Penjelasan :
· Router1 menggunakan default route yaitu :
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 ser2/0
· Router2 menggunakan 2(dua) statis route yaitu :
1. ip route 172.16.3.0 255.255.255.0 ser 2/0
2. ip route 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 ser 3/0
· Router3
Untuk Router3 sebenarnya menggunakan 3(tiga) statis route yaitu :
1. ip route 172.16.1.0 255.255.255.0 ser 2/0
2. ip route 172.16.2.0 255.255.255.0 ser 2/0
3. ip route 172.16.3.0 255.255.255.0 ser 2/0
Akan tetapi, di sini saya menggunakan Route Summarization yaitu dengan cara memperkecil routing table sehingga membuat proses pencarian menjadi lebih efisien, karena lebih sedikit
rute yang dicari.
Caranya yaitu dari 3(tiga) statis route di atas disederhanakan menjadi
ip route 172.16.0.0 255.255.252.0 ser 2/0
karena 3(tiga) statis rute di atas menggunakan interface keluaran yang sama
lihat gambar berikut:
